eCommerce Analytics Specialist

The Robinson Group has been retained by a Fortune 100 company that has created a new role for an eCommerce Analytics Specialist.

This position has excellent growth potential in a high profile group.

Overview:

Responsible  for delivering analyses and insights for company’s online store’s performance.

Will provide in-depth analyses on user engagement, website behavior, and product performance to support the UX and Online merchandising teams in driving online sales growth.

Will work cross functionally with various business units; translating business questions into actionable insights, including dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.

Looking for experience analyzing eCommerce and marketing campaign data, as well as a good understanding into online merchandising and digital marketing.

Responsibilities:

-Analyze marketing’s effectiveness at driving eCommerce customer and revenue growth at both a business unit and corporate level.

-Act as the SME for commerce KPIs and insights generation.

-Utilize various tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, Access, SQL) to join disparate data sources together to create a more robust story for the business.

-Identify gaps with data and/or tool functionality and deliver recommendations to the business.

-Work cross functionally to define and prioritize new dashboards and reports to help deliver the insights needed to achieve eCommerce goals.

-Gather business requirements from all stakeholders and create formal business and functional requirements documents for development teams.

-Develop and conduct regular training for business units to drive self-sufficiency in eCommerce reporting.

-Create and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.

Qualifications:

-BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related field.

-3 – 5+ years of experience in eCommerce sales and marketing data.

-2+ years of experience working with web analytics platforms (Adobe is a plus)).

-Strong analytical skills with impeccable attention to detail.

-Knowledge of various data mining techniques to generate business insights.

-Advanced Excel and Access skills; experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools, SQL experience a plus.

-Strong ability to identify business issues, formulate plans to resolve these issues and effectively communicate the results to all levels of the organization.

-Ability to collaborate in a global team environment.
