Vice President of Sales

The Robinson Group has partnered with an early stage AI software company (IaaS) seeking its first Vice President of Sales.
The company is very well funded and the role will work directly with the CEO.
Our client provides AI solutions for businesses to automate the delivery of targeted information to their key employees.
This app is offered currently on Microsoft Teams as well as behind-the firewall solutions for larger enterprises.
They are a Microsoft IP Co-Sell Partner on the Azure Marketplace.
This position can work from anywhere in the US close to a major airport as traveling to clients nationally and hands on selling is an important aspect for the success of the role.
Compensation is very competitive.
Impressive record in enterprise sales with recent hands on experience with either AI-based software or IaaS related sales to medium and large sized companies.
15 years of successful software sales experience as both an individual contributor and a sales leader growing and mentoring staff.
Ability to demonstrate a recent high trajectory in their career path.
Experience selling subscription services (IaaS) – ideally to financial institutions – and ability to present to and work with C level executives.
Minimum 4 year degree with advanced degree(s) preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and self-starter capabilities with preferable past experience in an early stage or startup environment.
Selling in situations with a long sales cycle is a plus with demonstrated ability in all aspects of sales leadership.
